We want to beam the air cargo industry into the 21st century. So we decided to build a company, from the ground up, that would reinvent the way airlines and freight forwarders interact.
Just one year after our founding, we have proven that the industry is more than ready for this change. We have attracted leading airlines and freight forwarders such as Lufthansa, Finnair, Dachser, Hermes, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, and nearly 300 more. With top-tier investors Creandum and Point Nine Capital on board, we are only getting started.

What's the opportunity?
One of the biggest challenges of early-stage startups is to attract the right talent for their mission and grow together. This requires effective processes our candidates will enjoy and at the same time will help us hire the best talent. We use software-based processes, structured interviews and try to actively involve the whole team in the recruitment strategy. We need you to help us improve each and all of those processes in order to create a winning employer brand.
What will I be doing?
Your are responsible for the entire recruitment cycle; that includes every step starting with filling the candidate-pool up to the relocation- and visa-processes of new employees.
You will coordinate external recruiters, special recruitment platforms as well as job advertisements, to find the right candidates for our job opportunities.
You will identify and contact potential candidates directly.
You create a positive experience for applicants by continuously optimizing the application process and supporting and guiding our hiring managers and team within the process.
You are an evangelist in our company for structured interviews and other methods to fight confirmation bias and hire the best candidates according to the company’s interest.
You will present cargo.one to the outside world and work closely with designers and marketing experts to establish employer branding.
What skills do I need?
You want to get deeply involved in the air freight industry in order to communicate our vision and mission.
You have high communication skills. People like to approach and talk to you and you transmit a positive feeling, even if there’s bad news.
You want to coach employees and turn them into better recruiters and promoters.
You enjoy setting up and supervising software-based processes.
You are fluent in English.
