We want to beam the air cargo industry into the 21st century. So we decided to build a company, from the ground up, that would reinvent the way airlines and freight forwarders interact.

Just one year after our founding, we have proven that the industry is more than ready for this change. We have attracted leading airlines and freight forwarders such as Lufthansa, Finnair, Dachser, Hermes, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, and nearly 300 more. With top-tier investors Creandum and Point Nine Capital on board, we are only getting started.

What's the opportunity?

At cargo.one, business development is an integral part of our success. Initiating and driving conversations to then ultimately establish partnerships with cargo airlines around the world, enables us to build great supply to satisfy the ever growing demand for cargo capacity. Only by creating a liquid marketplace, we will be able to change the industry. We're highly ambitious individuals who love to test the untested, and we're looking for similarly minded individuals who are constantly curious and driven to understand our business better and drive it forward.

This role is the opportunity to drive the supply side of our booking platform, to be exposed to an ever-changing yet traditional industry and its leaders.

What will I be doing?

  • You are responsible for the entire B2B enterprise sales process of acquiring new cargo airlines as partners.

  • You source deals, contacts to create initial touch points with targets.

  • You manage relationships with a multitude of senior stakeholders to drive a successful sales process.

  • You analyze and determine suitable integration methods, in close collaboration with our technical experts.

  • You are driving the execution of commercial agreements and contractual work in close collaboration with cargo.one’s founders.

  • You are a key stakeholder in the integration process, liaising between internal and external stakeholders.

  • You are responsible for bringing partner airlines capacities live onto the platform.

  • You establish, manage and exceed business development key results based on our company OKR's (Objectives & Key Results).

What skills do I need?

  • You have proven experience in B2B enterprise business development or project management.

  • You have excellent communications skills, recognize business opportunities and convince in negotiations.

  • You have a high level of motivation and the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding team.

  • You live a solution based approach to sales with a good understanding of technology.

  • You thrive on strong customer focus and building long-lasting relationships.

  • You have a proven background in working with senior management, including C-Level executives.

  • You have high attention to detail and accuracy while being well-organized.

  • You are ready to spend time on planes, whenever needed.

  • You have experience working in a SaaS/Software company (a plus!).

  • You are fluent in English (more languages are a plus!).
