CARGO.ONE-ON-ONE
Veit Dinges
Sr. Business Development Manager

After spending the past 19 years abroad, studying at INSEAD and after starting his career in consulting, Veit decided to join the cargo.one team in Berlin. As Senior Business Development Manager he works hand in hand with our airline partners to foster growth and unlock business opportunities around the globe for cargo.one.

What convinced you to join cargo.one?

Having spent years traveling to work with some of the world’s largest companies as a consultant and in banking, I knew there was a high bar for finding projects that felt equally exciting and challenging. At cargo.one, the impact we have on the industry is extremely tangible and has continued to exceed my expectations. At the same time, nothing has been more fun or rewarding.

Similar to some of the transportation sectors I worked in previously, air cargo also still has a lot to gain from digitalization. I was drawn to the opportunity to be part of a young team developing digital solutions that will sustainably change the future of this huge (USD 100bn!) sector.

What are the daily challenges you tackle in the airlines' team?

The challenge on the airline/supply side of the team comes from a broad range of responsibilities that also demand great detail - whether this is for new business development, building relationships or project managing technical integrations. In an early-stage company such as cargo.one, you have the opportunity to pave the way through this complexity by developing processes and introducing tools that increase velocity and build the basis for growth. I have personally been focusing on developing our base of airline partners and am in constant exchange with our relevant stakeholders.

To me cargo.one is:

Having a real impact in a fast-paced and challenging working environment with the best people.

Join hundreds of freight forwarding companies already using cargo.one
