1. Customs Regulations (Malaysia)

Mandatory Appointment of Authorized Customs Agent
The exporter or importer must appoint Multi-Trans Sdn Bhd as the customs agent to handle customs clearance.
Otherwise, only the exporter’s or importer’s official appointed agent is allowed to process the customs clearance.

Import duties & taxes
Any goods imported into Malaysia by land, sea, or air are subject to duty and/or tax.
The rate charged depends on the item’s HS Code.

Types of duties and taxes on imports
During importation, the following may apply:

• Import Duty
• Excise Duty
• Sales Tax on Imports

(Not all goods are subject to all three—it depends on the HS Code.)

Import duties and sales tax are calculated based on the CIF value, which consists of the cost of goods, insurance, and freight.

2. Import & Export

Rates quoted are applicable to GENERAL CARGO only and not applicable to HAZARDOUS, DANGEROUS, OVERSIZED and PERISABLES cargo.
Kindly request for a separate quote on these items.

Rates charged are applicable on the CHARGEABLE WEIGHT of each consignment which is reflected on the Master Airway Bill (MAWB) or House Airway
Bill (HAWB). The chargeable weight is based on either Gross Weight or Volumetric Weight or the consignment; whichever is higher. Volume weight of
one kilogram is equal to 6,000cms and subjected to changes of the IATA rules.

Original, complete and acceptable shipping documents inclusive of customs duty payment or tax exemption approval (if any) should be made available to
us seven (7) days before airline’s arrival. Any port storage or additional charges incurred due to non-availability of above will be for your account.

All charges (Airfreight, Custom tax & duties, etc) are to be paid before delivery.

Shipment booking is subject to availability of airline space.

Rates quoted subject to the availability of our equipments, vehicles and manpowers upon the time of booking or confirmation.

A minimum of 14 days notice shall be provided for us to mobilize our equipments, vehicles and manpowers.

Our quotation is based on the details as mentioned in your packing list. However, should there be any changes to the weight and dimension to the
individual cargo, quantity, etc., additional charges will be invoiced subject to prior notice and mutual discussion. Similarly, if there is a change in our scope
of works.

Validity of this quotation is 14 days from the date of this quotation.

The above rates are subject to changes with / without notice. You will be advised on the revised rates upon any General Rate Increase (GRI).

3. Transport

Transport term FOT - Free on Truck only.
Transport Rate quoted base on per trip/truck basis.
